For many people, this a familiar feeling… your heart races, your palms sweat, and you fidget… right before that big job interview, or that big date with the person you’ve had a crush on for the longest. Before you too excited, let me just say that the material in this article is not the magic bullet that will turn you into James Bond. If you want the real secret to getting over your nerves, it’s frequent repetition… exposing yourself to the same stress enough times until your body and mind finally adapt. But if it’s your first job interview, date, or presentation in a while, there is in fact a quick exercise you can do to relax yourself a bit.

Whenever you get into a situation where you need help with something, whether it be losing weight, building muscle, finding a partner, starting a business, or advancing your career, it's only natural to seek out advice from peers who are already successful at what you're looking to do. However, just because someone's good at something doesn't necessarily mean he/she will be able to give you good advice. This article will explore why and how you can tell. The purpose of remedial education is is to remedy someone who's reached a point of unpreparedness regardless of why, hence the name of this site. Unprepared for life was exactly what I was right after graduating school. A period of time followed where I failed to realize my potential in a lot of things in life. Looking at my peers, I couldn't help but feel left behind when it came to things like physical fitness, appearance, dating, career, and finances. Perspectives on self improvement will be offered based on my experiences. Although not a website about religion, the perspectives offered here are influenced by my Christian faith. One of the reasons I felt compelled to start this site was because in my own quest to fix my problems, I found a real lack of online resources for people of faith who are looking for help in secular areas. Too many sites were just plain inappropriate for someone like me... most dating sites gave advice that contradicted my moral principles... lots of healthy eating and exercise sites came across as cults and/or seemed excessively obsessed with cavemen and evolutionary theory. I found that if you stay at some of those sites for too long, they will take you down a rabbit hole. Even if the advice is fine, the communities behind it obsess over it and make you think that one particular topic is the be all end all of life. This will hijack your priorities and lead you away from God. No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. My hope is that this site serves as an alternative. Thank you and God bless.
